The other day I was checking my photos from my trip to Coonoor and my photos taken at the Sunflower fields near Mysore really caught my eyes. I couldn’t help myself but feel that this would have been an amazing spot for my pre-wedding photoshoot had I done it in Bangalore.

My hometown is Kolkata and that is where I got married in the presence of our family and relatives. We went back there just in time before the wedding to get some pictures taken for my pre-wedding which I absolutely love. But there are some good places in Bangalore as well where people regularly go for some amazing photos. So, I am compiling 5 quirky spots in Bangalore which are perfect for your trendy pre-wedding photos.

1. Sunflower fields near Bangalore

If you want to have a DDLJ type pre-wedding photoshoot to commemorate your love, you can certainly trade the Mustard fields for Sunflower fields. You will see beautiful Sunflower fields while passing through the national highway and many farmers let you take pictures in the fields for a mere Rs 20. The only thing to keep in mind is to not damage the crops while you are posing among them. It’s a win-win situation for everybody.

2. Vineyards near Bangalore

Vineyards make a very beautiful background for your pre-wedding photoshoots. You can make a day out of by doing tours and factory visits as well as finish off with some delicious wine tastings.

3. Ostrich Farms near Bangalore

I know many of you are thinking an Ostrich Farm for a photoshoot is a bizarre notion. But just think about it. You can pose with them in the background to make unique and not-to-be-forgotten-soon images to flaunt before your big day. You can either lean on the perimeters or just pose in such a way that the ostriches come in your background. I hope I am getting the attention of the animal lovers here.

4. Snow City, Bangalore

If you want a winter wonderland themed pre-wedding photoshoot in Bangalore, Snow City is an ideal spot. You can reach early to snag some ‘your time’ on the floor and get some of the amazing pictures of all time. You can create your won Snowman and pose with it too. There are quite a few spots in and around here where you can let your imaginations run wild.

Bangalore has many swimming clubs providing you the flexibility of time. You can grab that opportunity to create your amazing underwater pre-wedding photos. Yes, that’s right, I said underwater. It’s a very unique and creative trend for pre-wedding photoshoots right now. And the plus point is, you can pose outside of water also if you are not comfortable getting all wet.

Pro-Tip: You call the owners or the management team to ask if you can shoot on their off-day. If you manage to get that opportunity, you will get the spot all to yourselves for a few hours.

The most important thing about pre-wedding photoshoot is to be comfortable in what you do. It is a great opportunity to know the other person and create some adorable memories together that you will cherish forever.
